About Me

Hi there! My name is Kathy Sieckman. I am an Arizona native and am married to my high school sweetheart. We have two adult children, eight grandchildren, a parakeet, an African grey parrot, and two dogs. With turning 60 staring me in the face, I decided to start writing the lessons I’ve learned in life to help my grandchildren make better choices. What started as posts every day for the 60 days leading up to my 60th birthday has turned into posts about a variety of topics–still hopefully with a lesson to be learned. There are too many things I want to say for me to stop.

I have been lucky enough to be able to travel around the world with great friends and share amazing experiences with my grandchildren. I’ve seen Justin Bieber and the David. I’ve seen Barbra Streisand (twice!) and Adele. I have seen more and done more than I ever thought possible. I love my life!

My goal is (as Dale Smith Thomas says) to be a HOPE dealer (Helping Other People Excel). My life passion is to help others be the best they can be. Life is far too short to do otherwise.
